PEAD has been supporting Civic Force’s NPO Partner Projects with Galapagos in Takeo since August 2021. Galapagos provides an after-school program for children including those with developmental disabilities. Their facility was damaged by the floods during the August heavy rain.

Mr. Koichiro Yoshida, executive director of PEAD, remarked, “Victims are still devastated by the disaster. We would like to support your activities for recovery and reconstruction. PEAD is looking forward to continuing collaborations with organizations working on the ground during disasters.”

Mr. Koyanagi, head of Galapagos, thanked the donor and said, “This donation encouraged us to stand up again from the disaster.” He also gave updates on their activities.

Civic Force continues to partner with various organizations to implement assistance activities.
