Civic Force Distributes Hand Sanitizers to 16 Partner Organizations
COVID-19 infections continue to spread in rural areas of Japan. Civic Force received 3,108 hand sanitizer bottles from Goyoh Medical Instrument Co.,Ltd., a medical equipment distributor.
From April 15, 2021, Civic Force then allocated the hand sanitizers to 16 partner organizations. The partners include a soup kitchen for children, welfare facilities, and aid organizations supporting disaster-affected people, low-income families, international students, and refugees.
These in-kind donations also gave people encouragement and hope and Civic Force received warm thank you messages from beneficiaries.
"These are perfect for frontline welfare workers. Thank you so much!"
"I really appreciate this assistance - people like us have to use hand sanitizers frequently and we are at high risk for skin problems. The hand sanitizers have a moisturizing feel after use." - Welfare center staff
"If we stop working because of the pandemic, there are a number of beneficiaries including children, women, and foreign residents who will be negatively affected. We have implemented strict hygiene measures so this donation is much appreciated." - Aid organization staff
"As we continue to live in this concerning period, this aid is a huge encouragement" - Hospital staff
"People affected by disasters, soup kitchen staff, and low income families that we support, they were all happy with this kind assistance!" - Aid organization staff
