COVID-19 Response

Project Overview

In December 2019, Civic Force took part in establishing a joint emergency team, Airborne Rescue and Relief Operations With Search (ARROWS) to provide more effective emergency assistance for natural disasters. Shortly after ARROWS was founded, COVID-19 broke out. In January 2020, the team began distributing masks to medical facilities. Since then, as a member ARROWS, Civic Force has dispatched medical and logistics personnel, provided equipment, and installed trailers for infection prevention to healthcare facilities. Civic Force is also supporting local organizations working toward recovery and reconstruction in areas affected by the pandemic.

    Trailer Offices and Tent Installations

Civic Force leased and installed trailer offices and tents at hospitals in the Kansai and Kyushu regions. The equipment is used as triage posts to check temperatures of visitors to prevent in-facility infections. Civic Force’s assistance includes transportation, installation, and furnishing of trailers and tents. Hospitals recognize the significance of this assistance noting, “This is critical to maintain the local health care system.”
